How Do I Get Connected?
Step 1: Pre-register for the Starting Point class that meets Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the Town Hall. This four week class is offered for anyone that wants to know more about SUMC. The class addresses the history, mission, purpose and future of SUMC. This is a prerequisite for membership.
Step 2: The next step is to choose a class from the list below that interests you. You can choose a new class and register quickly and easily right here online. (just click on the class name below) Or you can join an ongoing group study that meets regularly to check it out. Keep a special eye out for Core Classes! Books (if needed) can be purchased at the Bookstore in the Connections Cafe' Lobby. (Campus Map)

The Bridge, Connecting with Christ The goal of this class is to not only create an "aha!" on Sunday mornings, but more importantly to create disciples of Jesus on Monday. The class uses any and every method available to accomplish this goal, including lecture, small group discussion, role play, video training, roundtable discussions, workshops, field trips, guest speakers, etc.

ScreamFree Parenting
Based on the award-winning DVD program by Today Show regular Hal Runkel, LMFT, ScreamFree Parenting is unlike any other parenting material you’ve ever encountered. It doesn’t teach you tips or techniques that merely scratch the surface of what you’re after. This is a whole new way of thinking that will change the way you see yourself and your kids from the moment you interact with it.
The ScreamFree way compels you to focus on yourself and calm yourself down, opening doors to newfound peace that your family deserves. Being part of this 8-week class with other parents who are on a similar journey will allow you to exchange ideas, laugh with each other, and support each other as you embark upon your journey to become ScreamFree.

Jesus and the Jewish Holidays
Join Jeff Swartz as he provides an introduction to the Jewish holidays and their connection to Jesus. Jeff will share his personal testimony and experience growing up in a Jewish home and ending up in seminary as well as providing an introduction and overview to the Jewish holidays of Shabbat; Hanukkah; the Torah; Jewish High Holy Days; Passover Haggadah; and Seven Weeks of Jewish Celebration. If you have ever wanted to learn more about the Jewish faith but didn't know where to turn - this class is for you!
Monday, June 22nd and will run for 7 consecutive weeks, ending on August 3rd.
